Annie Oakley was such a good shot, she supported her family by shooting game at age 9 and paid her widowed mother’s mortgage at 15. She sewed all her own costumes and performed into her 60’s, overcoming poverty, abuse and physical injury with determination and strength of character - and of course, her dog Dave and husband of 50 years, Frank.
