Anniversary Sharf
Sharf is my name for a gently crescent shaped scarf which thinks it’s a shawl. This sharf was designed for the first anniversary of the Agrarian Artisan group on Ravelry, hence the name.
I made the sample in The Natural Dye Studio’s Special Merino Silk DK, which was a limited yarn but it can be made in any DK. It would be ideal in anyo of The Natura Dye Studio’s DK yarns - do have a look at their website.
The sharf is knit from end to end starting narrow and increasing gently until it is full width, staying straight for a few pattern repeats before decreasing back to the starting width. It is in garter stitch which means there is no right or wrong side – ideal for a sharf!
The finished size is 170cm by 20cm blocked.
There is a KAL with this design starting on my forum soon - Agrarian Artisan Designs.
