This pattern is the one I used to teach a class in ear-flap hat construction and color work at Knitorious. Varying yarn and needle size from worsted to DK will give you smaller sizing.

I’ve used various charts from many different books and individual patterns in the hats pictured. The pattern does not include all the charts for the hats pictured. Find a repeat that fits into the 96 stitch hat and is between 26 and 30 rows tall.
