“What are you working on?”
“Oh, you know…”
Not only is this the perfect answer to that question you are bound to get while stitching away, you can flip this cowl any which way to wear it. It is fully reversible, you can wear it with the picot edge or ribbing up or down, you can flip it in half with just the ribbing or lacy portion showing, you pick! No matter how you put it on, you will never be wrong!

Materials:

  • 1 skein Malabrigo Rios (shown in color 138 Ivy, pure merino superwash, 210yds per 100g).
  • US8 circular needle in 24” length, or appropriate length for magic loop
  • Stitch marker to denote beginning of round
  • Yarn needle and scissors for weaving in ends

Measurements:
24-25 inches in circumference (it naturally wants to taper slightly due to the ribbing), and 7.75 inches deep. Gauge is 4 sts per inch, 16 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette after blocking.

Note: I used 71g for this project, about 5g just for the picot bind off. Plan on 75g to be safe if you are trying to use up your stash.
