Another pretty Shetland pattern
Second series published 1847.
The pattern is in repeats of 10 stitches with one stitch for border. It calls for a no. 8 needle, which--according to Miss Lambert’s filiere--corresponds to a US 7. The wrong side rows call for “plain knitting”, which is all knit stitches according to the book’s glossary.
