These socks feature a simple slipped-stitch pattern that runs down the heel flap. These are excellent road trip knitting, because there is really only one row to pay attention to. I think they are particularly nice in a variegated yarn, without the pattern getting lost.

Finished Size: S (M, L) 7” (8”, 9” around), unstretched

Yarn: Dragonfly Fibers Dragon Sock, 100% Superwash Merino, 390 yards/100g (Sample knit in Denali)

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 2 US (2.75 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
