Anou tanktop
Heading
Introduction
The Anou tanktop is a light and summery top with a romantic lace detail at the sides. It’s an entertaining knitting project, as it has a simple construction and sections of stockinette, with an addictive touch provided by the repetitive lace pattern.
The Anou tank top is worked bottom-up in the round. After reaching the right length, the stitches are divided, and decreases are made which result into four “triangles” for the upper part of the top. The triangles are connected with i-cord straps. The pattern includes the option of wider straps as well.
Sizes
The tanktop is intended to have zero to 3cm/1.25in positive or negative ease around the bust, depending on your preference. That means it has a slightly loose or a somewhat tighter fit. It’s a straight tanktop. If your waist is considerably smaller than your bust, choose a size that’s somewhat smaller than your bust circumference.
