Anouk (headband)
A warm, stylish headband is a really good alternative accessory to beanies or caps – and we definitely need that in winter! Headband ANOUK is described for 5 sizes and fits almost all sizes from teenager to woman. And it enriches my popular series ANOUK with another pattern that is also easy to handle for beginners. Patterns are both, charted and written.
A simple knit-and-purl pattern is lined with an I-Cord edging, which forms a nice finish and also provides good fitting.
The headband is knitted in rows, beginning and end are sewn together or bind off together with a “3-needle-bind-off”. The neck area is slightly smaller and thus very comfortable to wear, while the ears are well covered.
A nice 1 ball project, which is knitted in no time at all and is also a very fine little present!
You can use DK-weight or light worsted yarns with yardage about 90 m/50 g.
Basic knowledge and some practice in knitting is all you need. All steps are explained in detail.
