I find this pattern to be my perfect gift hat. It goes well with special textured or handspun skeins, although any yarn of the right weight would be suitable. I’ve named it “anrheg” because that is the Welsh word for “gift”, and made it free because so that it is also a gift to all knitters who might want to make it.

This pattern needs a single skein of DK or worsted weight yarn. This should also provide enough to make a pom pom in most cases.
