Gauge: 21 sts in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch

The samples were made using Malabrigo Rios, Drops Sky, Drops Lima and Drops Cotton Merino and using 4mm / US6 knitting needles.

You will need: DK yarn (up to 90 grams for the largest size, less than 50 grams for the smallest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (please make sure you make a gauge swatch!, darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the hat, 4mm / G crochet hook if you are making crochet ties.

Please make a gauge swatch to make sure you match the gauge! The needle size will vary from yarn to yarn and from knitter to knitter!

The hat is knit flat.
