Este Ganso busca el verano perpetuo, pasando el verano en Mongolia, y atravesando el Himalaya para hacer su periodo de hibernación en la región sur de la India en invierno. Lo que más me impresionó de la migración de este animal, es que pueden volar hasta 7000 metros de altitud tardando 8 horas en atravesar las cumbres más altas y sin parar, volando de noche, sin viento, con el único apoyo de batir sus alas, ¿cómo lo hacen? Lo consiguen porque son capaces de hiperventilar regenerando así sus músculos mucho más rápido. Todo esto se descubrió tras un estudio realizado por un equipo internacional equipando a 25 aves con transmisores GPS, impresionante ¿verdad?

Material: Terra de Rosarios 4, color 06, cuyo grosor es de 170m en 100g, con una calidad de 100% lana. Agujas circulares de 4,5mm o lo necesario para obtener la muestra de tensión indicada, cables de distintos largos, 13 botones de unos 15mm aproximadamente y marcadores de punto.

Muestra de tensión: Después de bloquear, tenemos 17p y 25v dando una muestra de 10x10 cm tejida en punto jersey, este dato es importante para conseguir las dimensiones finales indicadas.

Inspiration: This design is part of the Instinct Collection; inspired by migratory animals and their travels. After the top Golondrina, and the Flamingos Shawl, with the arrival of autumn it was the turn of the Monarch Shawl, all incredible animals. Now in the middle of autumn and with the first cold spells of 2023 arriving, I’m launching a warmer design whose inspiration leads us to discover the flight of the Indian Goose called “Anser indicus”, the bird with the highest flight in the world.

Material: Terra by Rosarios 4, color 06, with a thickness of 170m in 100g, and a composition of 100% wool (for amounts per size, see the table on page 3). Circular needles of 4.5mm or size needed to obtain the indicated gauge, cables of different lengths, 13 buttons of approximately 15mm (see section 9), and stitch markers.

Gauge: After blocking, 17sts and 25 rows gives 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch, this data is important to achieve the indicated final measurements.
