Antheia Bucket Hat
I love, and I do mean LOVE sunflowers, so much in fact that my husband grows them for me every year. So, when this idea got stuck in my head, I was determined to create it. This Antheia (the goddess of flowers) Bucket hat is so adorable, and it works up super quick. The pattern can also be used to make other types of flowers too. I hope you enjoy it.
Pattern is written in US terms, and I would consider it advanced beginner
Materials:
– Any 4-weight acrylic or cotton yarn will probably work; For the Acrylic I used I Love This Yarn in Coffee and Yellow, roughly 100-200 yards for Hat depending on size, and 50-100 yards for petals.
– Size I/9-5.50mm Hook (I use Boye)
I crochet loose, if you do not, you may need to go up a hook size, or add an extra pattern repeat.
– Tapestry Needle
Pattern comes with instructions for the following sizes:
0-3 Months
3-6 Months
6-12 Months
Toddler
Child
Teen/Adult
This is not a “fitted” hat.
