Antique Dealer Tea Cosy
The wonderful Antique Dealer Tea Cosy from TeaCosyFolk is more of a sculptural piece of art rather than a tea cosy.
Isn’t it a tea cosy and a half? The main cosy part of this tea cosy is an old antique chest of drawers, Rococo in style I think. It has Queen Anne legs and brass drawer knobs. On the top of the drawers is an old mantel clock.
There is an antique dealer stood next to the drawers and he’s thinking about the value of the antiques. I don’t know if you recognise him, but I took inspiration from the famous antique dealers that we see on the telly. He’s thinking closely about the value and rubbing his chin because he wants to make sure that the valuation is the real deal on the day.
What he might not have spotted is a little woodworm peeking out the back of the furniture, now that’s bound to effect the price.
It’s a lovely tea cosy and great fun to make and is amazing how it starts to take shape.
This tea cosy is tribute to antique dealers, antique lovers and avid antique program watchers everywhere!
The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own antique dealer tea cosy.
