Antonia 17th 18th Century Corsage
This simple to make stunning corsage will make a lovely gift for a friend, loved one, or for yourself. It can be made in an evening. This pattern also includes photos and a simple step by step guide to show you how.
’Antonia’ corsage features a pretty hand made needlework button in the centre. Needlework Yorkshire Buttons originated in Yorkshire in the North of England in competition with the Dorset Button in around 1680 to 1700. Keep this wonderful old English tradition alive and make one!
You will make your own button template out of card and a simple i-cord will make the petals. Spend a few therapeutic hours making this gorgeous creation and sit back and admire the results. You won’t be disappointed.
