Sweet and classic little jacket is knitted flat in one piece starting at lower edge. It is simple, but a well-fitted and very functional cardi. I am sure you will want to redo it in a different size. The center back is made fasionably longer using short rows. After that both Front and Back are continued as one piece up to armholes. The shoulders are joined with 3-needle BO. Set-in sleeves are also worked flat. In this sample, variegated yarn is complemented by almost solid color for garter stitch trims on all edges and partially for sleeves to blend in all colors together.

Although for most it does not matter which side is used for buttons, we provide buttonhole band directions for boys and girls separately, if you need it.
