I call this my Any Day Lace Wrap because since I made mine, I have worn it so much - any day, for any occasion - and it is always elegant and warm. I have found it a great asset on car trips and flights. It is also wonderful for places with cold air conditioning. The size gives enough to wrap around you.

The purple Any Day Lace Wrap uses Naturally Caron Spa yarn. Unfortunately Caron has discontinued this yarn, but I see many on Ravelry have it in their stash. I used nearly 4 skeins. You could also use a DK weight yarn that will block well.

The mauve colored Any Day Lace Wrap pictured uses 10 x 50g balls of Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK (1,370 yards). I’m very happy with the stitch definition in this yarn. It’s lovely to work with. I used 3 instead of 5 edge stitches for the mauve wrap. I also ended with Row 5 of the pattern before bind off and I think I like this better than a full pattern.

I used US6/4mm circular needles with 36” cord for both samples shown.

It is easy to get into the rhythm of knitting this lace pattern repeat. I have provided both charted and written instructions.
