YARN
5 (5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 9) skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Merino Silk Lace; 4 (4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8) in London Fog (MC) and 1 in Marine (CC) (765 yd / 700 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 50% Fine Merino, 50% Silk).
NEEDLES & NOTIONS
Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 24”/ 60 cm and 32” / 80 cm long
Size 6 US / 4 mm set of five double-pointed needles
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
5 stitch markers (1 distinct to mark BOR), stitch holders, yarn needle
GAUGE
23 sts and 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in St st, with yarn held double, after blocking.
24 sts and 40 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in K2p2 Rib, with yarn held double, after blocking.
PATTERN NOTES
This raglan-style sweater is worked in the round from the top down with yarn held double throughout.
Armhole and sleeve cap shaping are different to ensure a specific fit, but are worked at the same time, so read those instructions carefully.
