I wanted to make some blankets for The Preemie Project that were interesting to look at without being too lacy so they would work for either a boy or girl. I had used this stitch pattern in a baby sweater a few years ago and thought it would be perfect for this project. It is an easy 2 stitch, 2 row repeat so it is easy to adjust to whatever size you want and whatever weight yarn you have to work with. I have included instructions on how to do the calculations so you can make it to fit your needs.
