The Any Time Crochet Cardigan Pattern is a seamless top-down round yoke cardigan. With its close fit, you can layer it over a tank top in warm weather and still have room to wear a jacket or coat on top in cooler climates. Perfect to wear any time!
Cropped to finish just above the hips, you can pair this with your favourite jeans or wear it over a dress, buttoned up or left open.
The pattern is written in English using US crochet terms.
Skills
This is a relatively simple round yoke cardigan pattern made using extended the extended single crochet stitch (description and link to tutorial given in pattern).
You will need to work in rows and rounds, make simple increases and decreases and keep track of your stitch counts.
The pattern includes a photo guide after the written instructions to help you see what the cardigan should look like as it works up. The photos are separated from the written pattern for easy printing.
Materials
The cardigan is worked using 950 - 1640m of dk yarn (depending on size worked) and a 4mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge / tension. The pattern includes approximate meterage by size.
The item you see here uses Furls Whims Merino DK, depending on size made. 50% Merino, 50% Nylon Z twist yarn. 100g ball = 180m
Buttons are optional, but the item pictured uses 5 x 20mm buttons. Guidance is given in the pattern on accommodating any button size.
Stitch markers are recommended to assist with working the sleeves and placing the buttonholes.
Sizing
The pattern is written in 7 sizes from XS to 3XL with a finished chest measurement of 82-144cm. The pattern includes a table and schematic with more detailed measurements to help you choose the correct size.
The cardigan is designed to be close fitting so it is important you match gauge and choose an appropriate size based on measurements rather than size categories.
