Project Description: These wonderfully warm, thick mittens feature two color thorn stitch on the cuffs. The hand is stranded in two colors which makes a nice, thick, warm mitten!

A fingerless version of the pattern is also included as a bonus pattern!

Size and Finished Measurements: As written, these instructions produce an average sized women’s mitten with a 4 inch (10.2 cm) cuff, a 2 ½ inch (6.4 cm) thumb and a palm circumference of 8 inches (20.3 cm). Width and length can be modified by adding/reducing stitches and rounds as needed.

Materials and Equipment:
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios, pure merino superwash, worsted weight, 210 yds, 100 gms, in 2 colors: 870 Candombe and 011 Apple Green. Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm) dpns, 3 stitch markers, darning needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows in stranded stockinette with US size 7 (4.5mm) needles = 4” / 10 cm
