This design is ideally suited to a cake yarn with a long colour change. It is not suitable for any yarn which is variegtaed or has short colour changes as the pattern will not be seen.

My sample was made with 2 cakes of Yarn Art Flowers and a 3.5mm hook and is 115cm square. Any weight yarn could be used to vary the size of the blanket.
