Aphrodite’s Dance is a lacy, lightweight shawl featuring asymmetrical shaping and a delicate shell edging. This shawl works up quickly and easily in heavy sport or DK weight yarn, and makes a gorgeous statement piece! The shawl decreases in stitch count as it is worked up, so it becomes easier and easier as you go!

This pattern contains helpful, clear photos and easy to follow, detailed instructions; perfect for an intermediate level crocheter!

Skill Level: Intermediate. Requires knowledge of sc, hdc and dc stitches. Knowledge of foundation hdc is helpful but not required.

Size: Shawl shown measures approximately 55” in wingspan and 25” tall, but you can make it any size you’d like.

Materials: A total of approximately 450 yards DK or heavy Sport weight yarn. Example uses Malabrigo Silky Merino (150 yards per 50g) in Turquoise.
