Apollo, A Diminish Pattern

This is a pattern for Apollo, a character from the unfiction webseries Diminish, created by SeireaSong. Permission to make and publish this pattern was granted by the creator.

The pattern is written in US terminology. There are pictures and captions for each piece and the assembly. There is also “printer friendly” version at the end of the pattern with just text and no pictures.

This pattern requires advanced beginner to intermediate crochet skills. You need to be familiar with amigurumi techniques, including magic rings, crocheting ovals and other shapes by working into both sides of a chain, crocheting a border to join two flat pieces, and sewing together multiple amigurumi parts.

The pattern recommends Bernat Velvet yarn in Vapor Grey and Blackbird. If you use this yarn, you will have a plushie that sits 8-9 inches tall. If you use a different yarn, the size and shape of pieces may be affected and the final product will be different. You may also need to adjust your hook size accordingly.
