Appalachian Winter Mittens
These mittens are perfect for cold winter months, featuring a colorwork pattern knit in aran-weight yarn, evocative of the blue, rolling Appalachian mountains. The design features a gusset thumb, slightly to the palm side for a comfortable fit, and a classic rounded top. Loops attached to the inside of the cuff are a handy option if you tend to get your mittens wet and frequently need to hang them for drying!
SIZES: This pattern is written for one size, adult average, but could easily be adapted to other sizes using worsted or sport weight yarns at different gauges.
