This pattern is intended for advanced sock knitters who know what sort of heel and toe they prefer. It also assumes you like to knit toe-up on a magic loop.

It features a reversible stitch pattern (both written and charted) based on Mary Thomas’s “welting fantastic,” that shows off short color changes in space-dyed yarn, making them undulate like the aurora borealis.

I like the look of mine with the purl side of the sole out, but you can wear these any way you choose :)
