• Magic circle: use a loop of yarn to start crocheting
• ch: chain
• st: stitch
• sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• sc2tog: single crochet 2 stitches together like they are one stitch
• 2 sc in next st: an “increase,” do two sc sts in one st; makes 2 sts from 1
• dc: double crochet

My finished apple fits neatly in the bottom of my hand. Apple measures 12 by 3.5 inches not including leaf.

• 4mm crochet hook
• worsted weight yarn, 50 yards apple color
• 5 yards stem clor
• 20 yards leaf color
• stuffing that matches the color of your apple
• weights if desired for bottom of apple
