This pattern, one for an apple and one for a pear decorative towel (not a full sized kitchen towel) uses the graphghan technique. I used a combination of different cotton yarns that I had, but preferred working with the I Love This Cotton yarn and that was used for the main color. You could use any colors.

I also used bobbins for the color changes, following typical graphghan technique. When finished, I blocked the towels to a size 24.75 x 8.75 inches.

The chart provided is of 1/2 the towel. When you finish the chart, work the same chart again but from the top down to create the image in the same spot on the other half of the towel. Then, add an edging.
