This pattern is available from etsy.com for $4.50.

This cute little newborn sized bonnet is knitted flat and sewn in the back. An I cord is knitted to create the little stem. The leaves are simply scraps of fabric of different patterns (your choice). A template for these leaves is included. A small amount of spanish moss is added as an accent on the bonnet. The moss, fabric leaves and stem are hot glued to the top of the finished bonnet.

The pattern requires 60 yards of Drops Brushed Alpaca in red, 5 yards in brown and U.S. Size 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles. You’ll also need 4 pieces of 2.5” x 2.5” fabric and filler, a small handful of spanish moss, and glue gun/glue stick.
Pattern includes written description and photos, as well as a legend for abbreviated knitting symbols.
