The Apple Isle Socks were exclusively released as the featured pattern in the Bombed Yarns February Sock Box - the pattern will be released for everyone else on 14 March 2025.

A classic pair of socks, inspired by the home of Bombed Yarns, Apple Isle is the nickname given to the beautiful Australian state of Tasmania.

The Apple Isle Socks are knit cuff down with ribbing detail that will hug your feet beautifully.

As with all the other patterns in my Australian City Sock Collection, there are a few options so you can build your perfect sock. This pattern contains two options for the heel, including the Shadow Wrap Heel and the Heel Flap and Gusset so you can choose the option that fits best on your feet.

This pattern is perfect for the Bombed Yarns February 2025 Sock Club which has one main colour and two contrast colours, but you can also make a scrappy version using all those lovely leftovers you have tucked away or even knit them in a single colour.

You can use any type of sock yarn, including tonal, variegated or speckled yarn! I hope you have as much fun knitting these up as I did.

Have a wonderful time knitting up these gorgeous socks!

This pattern has been tech edited and fully tested. I warmly welcome and feedback or questions about the pattern.

Happy making!

Kath xx
