Heard one mom say: “Apple of my eye” to her little baby. So this hat came into existence.
When I was small I had a cot beedsheet in similar colors, too.
That I used the ladder-like part of my cot as a ladder, climbed the wardrobe, put all things out, and was finally wearing 5 shirts but no trousers is another story.. ;-)
And hey, it’s autumn, apple harvest time, too! ;-)
It has a two color ribbing, followed by bands of red and yellow apples and has a cute little crown at the top.

I knit the beanie from 4 - to 5-ply Acrylic yarn. You can use any similar yarn (Merino, 4-ply sock yarn. some leftovers will do).

As it has at most two colors in one round it’s easier to knit than you may think!

Just found a picture of the old bed sheet including me as “living content” ;-)

Als ich klein war, hatte ich auch einen ähnlich bunten Apfelbettbezug für mein Gitterbettchen. Dass ich dabei das Gitter als Leiter umfunktioniert habe, den Schrank hoch geklettert bin, den Schrank ausgeräumt habe, dann 5 T-shirts übereinander anhatte aber keine Hose.. sei nur nebenbei erwähnt…

So kam die Idee für diese Mütze.
Außerdem ist Herbst, Apfelerntezeit. ;-)
Die Mütze hat einen zweifarbigen Bund und wird von Apfelbordüren gefolgt. Der Mützenabschluss ist auch sehr schön.

Ich hab sie aus 4 - 5fach Acrylgarn gestrickt. Ihr könnt dafür auch jedes andere ähnliche Garn (Merino, Sockenwolle) verwenden.

Da die gesamte Mütze maximal zwei Farben in einer Runde verwendet, ist sie auch für Anfänger des Mehrfarbenstrickens geeignet.

Hab grad noch ein Bild von der alten Apfelbettwäsche gefunden mit mir als “Inhalt”.
