About:
The “Apple Orchard Socks” were named after the yarn they were knit with called, “Apple Picking”. Knit cuff-down with a beautiful textured pattern throughout, and a heel flap and gusset, these socks will look adorable peeking out of your Birkenstocks this Autumn!!

Yarn:
One skein of any light to heavy fingering wt yarn with at least (100 g/4 oz/437 yds /400 m).
For my longer sock sample, I used Tippy Tree Yarns, Super Sock – 4 ply, 75% SW Merino Wool + 25% Nylon in color, “Apple Picking.” (100 g/4 oz/423 m/463 yds).

  • For my shorter sock sample, I used Palmer Yarn Company yarn – 2 ply, 80% Merino Wool + 10% Cashmere + 10% Nylon in color, “Moss.” (100 g/4 oz/370 m/400 yds).
I also used (20 g/.71 oz/73 m/80 yds) of the Tippy Tree Yarn for my cuff, heel, and toes.
