Instructions included both versions - round and flat knitting - chose whichever you prefer.

For the classic Buffalo plaid (red/black colors) if using Cascade 128 Superwash chose:

• 855 (burgundy)
• 809 (really red)
• 815 (black) or 1913 (Jet)
• 817 (ecru) or 871 (white) or 875 (doeskin) or 1946 (silver) for the brim

If using Lana Grossa Alta Moda Cashmere 16 chose:

• 27 (burgundy)
• 10 (red)
• 15 (black)
• for brim: 01 (light grey) or 03 (taupe) or 16 (raw white)
