To make this purse you will need:

A 4mm crochet hook

An arch frame purse clasp - These are available online from eBay, amazon, & wool warehouse as well as in various other craft shops. You will need a clasp that is 9cm wide.

Red, green, brown and pink yarn (as well as a very small amount of black thread for the mouth). I use Patons DK Smoothie 100% acrylic. A 100g ball of this is 200m long so any yarn of the same weight would be suitable, in order to ensure that your work will fit the purse clasp.

12mm black safety eyes or domed buttons.

Strong matching red thread for attaching the pieces to the purse clasp - Any thinner yarn or embroidery thread is OK, but DK weight yarn can be too thick to go through the holes on the clasp.

Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, a stitch marker, a needle fine enough to fit through the holes in the purse clasp and some scissors.
