Apple Ribbon Tote
Pattern description from Bag Style: “With an unusual twist on knitting yarn, Bri Ana Drennon and Regina Rioux Gonzalez designed this generous tote to be crocheted in raffia ribbon. A stiff oval base is worked in rounds of single crochet with a double strand of raffia. The flexible body of the bag is then worked upward from the base with a single strand of raffia and finished with graceful scallops. Sturdy crocheted straps worked in the contrast color run from the base tot he top of the bad, and a row of single-crochet piping edges the top and calls out the sides of the gussets. For a final touch, an apple-motif pocket is attached to the front. No additional fastener or lining is needed.”
