In the ancient Greek mythology, mint was a sign of hospitality and culture. Today we use mint in some of our favorite culinary dishes and drinks. My favorite use is to steep the leaves, add it to a sweet tea punch, then pour it over ice placed in my favorite vintage glasses. If you purchase the ebook Herbed: The Seasonings Of Life you will find my recipe for Orange Mint Tea in the bonus PDF.

This lacy triangle shawl relies on a simple easy to memorize mesh stitch to make up the body before topping it off with a lacey leaf pattern. Before binding off the edge stitches are reduced, which gives the shawl a modified shape when draped over the shoulders.
