Let the Merry Making begin!

How often do you get to work a 1/2/1 RPT? (That’s a 1 over 2 over 1 right purl twist in case you’re new to this cable business.) What is more satisfying than working up little tubes for your loved one’s chilly thumbs? Nothing, we tell you. It’s just the best.

As for the yarn here, Jill Draper’s Windham is a woolly, American worsted-weight merino yarn that is buttery soft to the touch. Perfectly mitt-worthy.

Notes
To adjust cuff length, work more or fewer repeats of the Cable Pattern before working the final repeat of Rnd 1. To adjust hand length, knit more or fewer rnds before or after the thumb gusset.

If using a different needle size or an alternate yarn, the Cable Pattern should be worked on a needle two sizes smaller than the size used for St st.
