I made a mermaid tail to match the mermaid top and crown. This is a crochet fusion project which you need both sewing skill and crocheting skill.
I use my old white skirt and turn it into a pencil-shaped skirt. then add the tail using hard tulle and soft tulle. I can hand sew the whole skirt (Just a bit time-consuming for the ruffle parts)
After that, I added the crochet appliques to decorate it.
I hope you like it. I show tutorials for both DIY mermaid tail and the pattern for crochet appliques.

Materials:

1. An old white skirt (below Knee length) or a pencil-shaped skirt
2. A lining skirt (I got it from an old dress)
3. Hard tulle (Net Fabric)
4. Soft Tulle (3 colors)
5. DK yarn
6. Hook: 3.00 mm and 3.50 mm
7. Transparent string
8. Pearl beads (4 mm - 8 mm)
