Spring is getting close!
The snow is gone and the first snowdrops have appeared. Soon, very soon, the warm weather will be here, and we can once more wear tees. (At least without a woolen top beneath).
This top is designed to use fingering yarn. Gather a bunch of colours you love. The pink sample is knit using three different colours, whilst the neonrainbow-coloured one uses six different colours.
This knit also allows you to be really creative, so gather your leftovers and paint your way to knit your perfect tee. If you do use leftovers make sure you have enough yarn of each colour to knit at least one stripe of each colour.
Both samples are a size 2, but for the pink one my yarn was 365m/100gr, thus I got more positive ease.
To give you an idea of which size to knit, I am 175 cm tall and normally wear a size 36/38.

Material:
Fingering yarn: 400m/100gr

Approximately yarn needed.
225 (240, 260, 280, 310, 340, 375, 410)gr
The amount of yarn needed will alter if you knit the tee longer, or with a longer yoke depth.
Amount of yarn may also depend on types of yarn used, and your style of knitting.

Needles:
3 mm and 3.5 mm, small circular and DPN’s.
Note that needle sizes are suggested only. You may need to use a different size to achieve gauge.

Gauge:
Stockinette: 27 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10cm on larger needles after blocking
Word of warning, some of my testers did not get the row gauge. Thus, they had to knit more stripes before dividing for sleeves.

Sizes:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)
Recommended ease: 5-10 cm of positive ease at the bust depending on your preference.

Finished measurments:
Bust (A): 87 (96, 107, 114, 120, 130, 138, 148) cm
Yoke depth front, adjustable (B): 19 (20, 20.5, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27) cm
Bicep (C): 28 (31, 33 (31), 36, 40, 41, 44, 52) cm
Sweater length from underarm, adjustable (D): 30.5cm
Sleeve length, adjustable (E): 16.5cm

Neckline circumference, this is measured after use: 55 (57, 59, 61, 63, 65, 67, 69) cm

Written instructions only.

The three largest sizes has not been tested. If you are interested in knitting and testing one of these, please contact me, and I will send you the corresponding pattern.
