The piece is knit from the top down with two skeins of Pehuen, in a moderately easy repeating ribbed lace pattern. There is shaping from the beginning to the shoulders, then straight on from there (the photographs show it off the shoulder, but I really meant it to be worn ON the shoulder, and it would be easily adjusted to fit closer to the neck if desired - instructions included). It is closed at the front with a simple crochet chain threaded through a decorative bead, but I think it would also look darling with a ribbon tie or a button. Very customizable! The perfect thing for a mild spring evening on the town.
