Just as April showers bring May flowers, each droplet in this shawl holds a flower.

This is a rectangular lace shawl, with both written and charted instructions. The chart for this pattern was created by Cathy Scott using the StitchMastery Knitting Chart Editor, and the photographs in the pattern are from Digital Photography by Joe and Suzy.

Many thanks to my test-knitters - this is a much better pattern because of them.

This was my first major lace project, as well as my first lace pattern. The lace is ‘Ogee Lace’ from ‘A Treasury of Knitting Patterns’ by Barbara Walker. It was so beautiful I had to do something with it.

I hope you enjoy working with this pattern - please let me know if you run into any problems. And please remember to link your project to the pattern - I love seeing what people do with my patterns!
