Aprilis Shawl is an asymmetrical and modern shawl perfect for sport and fingering weight yarn, excellent for a warmer wather that add some style to you outfit.
This shawl is crochet diagonally starting at a single point and growing until you run out of yarn or when you achieve the desired length. The stitches used are so simple that make this shawl perfect for beginners and more advanced crocheters as well.
Materials & Tools:
Yarn SCHEEPJES Our Tribe 100g = 420m, 70% Merino Superwash and 30% Polyamide, 2 skeins. For the shawl sample I used Cypress Textiles (970) colorway.
Hook size 3,5 mm. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Tapestry needle (to weave and hide yarn ends)

Level: Beginner +
Gauge after blocking:
After 12 rows triangle is aprrox. 10cm/4in wide. Gauge is not crucial for this project. However, changes might result in a different yardage requirements and the finished size.
Size after blocking:
Approx.: wingspan - 154cm, center depth - 76cm

The pattern uses US Terminology
Aprilis Shawl is worked from one corner of the shawl to the opposite side.
You can adjust the length/width of this shawl by adding or removing rows of the pattern. My shawl finished at the 140 row of the pattern.
The pattern includes the stitch charts.
