April's Hat
by Cindy Walker
Beautifully soft and simple, cable and lace hat project. Using light worsted weight yarn, this hat’s intricate pattern is deceptively easy. This hat measures 22” around, 8 “-10” deep, made with Stony Hill’s Pacolet Valley Southern Bales Organic Cotton Yarn. Want a “slouchy look”? We got that covered in the pattern!
Materials: 60-80 grams of light worsted weight yarn, 130-180 yds
Needles: 16 inch circular in sizes 4 and 6 (or whatever gets the
gauge), cable needle or double pointed needle for
cabling, dpns for final crown decreasing
Gauge: 5.5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch
Know How: advanced beginner, willing, curious.
