The Aquatic Life Socks are colorwork socks with sea animals motifs on the leg and foot. They are worked seamlessly in the round from the top down and have a peasant heel. There is a 2-color stranded pattern with rows with two colors in one round only.

Sample shown is knit for the foot circumference 21 cm/8.25” and shoe size EU 38 (UK 5, US 7.5)

Any fingering weight sock yarn can be used to knit this socks, as long as you can obtain the gauge.

These are the amounts of my test knitters yarn usage. The exact yardage depends on your desired leg and foot length.

2.5 mm/US 1,25 for colorwork
2.25 mm/US 1 for toe and heel
2.0 mm/US 0 for ribbing
