Aquilon is often used to refer to any strong and cold north wind in poetry, while originally being a north-east wind. The Aquilon, and by extension winter, seems to be a promise of what’s to come. A quiet phase. Nature catches its breath and prepares for the color and life explosion to come. Yet, winter in Provence remains colorful. Dark amber roof tiles, terracotta walls, red ocher earth, combined with dark green cypress and silvery green olive trees. The Aquilon shawl is an ode to these vibrant earthy tones, gusts of wind creating patterns in the sand and sleepy winter villages. Aquilon uses a mirrored lace pattern to produce a symmetrical long-winged crescent. Prepare for spring and summer: indulge in lace and color!

Aquilon is pronounced /akilɔ̃/
