By popular request, my original Arabella pattern has been modified to provide a hat with many of the same features and using #4 worsted weight yarn. There are two distinctly different features between the original Arabella and Arabella Two. The first change is the hat brim. The original Arabella fanned outwards from the face. Arabella Two hugs the face. The second difference is the top of the hat. The original Arabella has a fitted top. The Arabella Two has a gathered puffy top. Arabella Two has a pleasing combination of cables and moss stitch. Several knitting techniques are incorporated into the design and the results are unusual, feminine and attention-grabbing.
