The Arabeschi shawl features harmonious arabesques and lacy cables. It is knitted sideways, and shaped with short rows.

The sample in the first picture has been knit with 641.7 yd - 587 m of fingering weight 100% wool (465 yd – 425 m on 3.53 oz – 100 g) and needles size 3.5 mm - US size 4.

The pattern has both charts and line-by-line directions.
