Darling pair of baby booties that measure a 4” sole when completed. Instructions are for one size.

The design incorporates seed stitch with increases, cable stitch, stockinette with decreases and ribbing. Knitted in one piece from bottom to top, folded in half and sewn together on bottom sole and back.

Knitted with a fingering weight baby yarn. I used just over a third of one skein of Mary Maxim’s Twinkle (color Mint), but any baby yarn will do as long as it achieves the gauge (shown above). I recommend a machine washable yarn. Perfect if you have about .6 oz (17g) of baby yarn.

Materials are knitting needles (size shown above). I recommend using circular needles, even though these are not knitted in the round. A small double pointed cable needle in the same size as the knitting needles is needed for the cables. Stitch markers are recommended.
