Pattern Notes:
The Aran Crop is a cotton cropped tank and it’s a great project if you have leftover DK/light worsted yarn. A large Celtic cable catches the eye on the front of the garment. Knitted from the bottom up, the top has 3 different lengths to choose from (length 1, 2, or 3). Length option 1 resembles a bralette, and option 2/3 resembles a cropped length or a moderate length, depending on your torso. Once the body is complete, the front and back panels are individually worked flat. The straps are made with an i-cord.

Sizes:
XS(S)M(L)XL(2XL)3XL

Yarn:
Any DK/light worsted weight yarn that meets gauge. Yarn approximations are based on length option 2 (regular crop length).
XS - 200 meters
S - 245 meters
M - 260 meters
L - 300 meters
XL - 325 meters

Gauge:
10 cm x 10 cm (4 inch X 4 inch)
16 stitches X 30 rows in stockinette on 4.5 mm needles. I suggest blocking your gauge swatch before you begin, as cotton is stretchy! Keep in mind the cable in the front tends to pull inwards as well.

Needles:
4 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles. Cord lengths can be 32, 60, or 80 cm (12, 24, or 30 inches).

Other Materials:
Scissors, darning needle, stitch markers, measuring tape, and a cable needle.
