This pattern is for a pair of adult mittens, made with Stylecraft Special Aran and a 4 mm hook.

This is a written pattern using UK crochet terminology. The pattern has 3 sections. First, the main body of the mitten is crocheted, without fastening off from your last row a border of ribbed stitches is worked along the top edge. The third section of this pattern involves crocheting the thumb.

It is great fun to make and is worked in the round so you will need a stitch marker to help you.
