A twist on the Aran theme, I love the idea of the fisherman’s uniquely, beautifully patterned jumper. A present of such a jumper, all the way from Stromness, led to this design which incorporates the herringbone style cables that form part of that Jumper’s amazingly intricate
pattern.

Made with 50% wool and 50% acrylic, these slippers will
keep your feet nice and warm whilst at the same time be hardwearing and machine washable.

The slippers are made entirely in the round with
herringbone cable design over the top and heel. The soles
Pattern are purled.

You will need: Set of 4 6mm (UK 4/ US 10) dpns, Tapestry needle, 5mm crochet hook, 1 marker and a cable needle.

All sizes require 1x 100g ball.

Tension is measured in purl stitch in the round. 9.5 sts and 13.5 rows to 6cm.
